A new version of Ann Veronica Janssens’ iconic coloured fog rooms is now installed at the PoMo museum. This is a fascinating immersive experience, disorienting our perception of light and space, as well as sharpening our other senses. Truly wonderful. The preview opening of the new Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain (@fondationcartier ) at Palais-Royal last Thursday was an incredible highlight of the Art Basel week in Paris. The architectural renovation works by Jean Nouvel is of course incredible. But what really left me speechless is how the new building and their opening exhibition illustrates the width and depth of their collection. One amazing work after the other, all presented in a magnificent setting. The collection shines in a way it could not at the Fondation’s previous location. A tour-de-force, opening to all today. A must visit.

Goodbye, Centre Pompidou. So long. A historic place, that holds so much meaning for my interest in art, closes now for 5 years. The private closing party, with performance from Cai Guo-Qiang, film experience from Thomas Bangalter and Justice, and concert from Christine and The Queens - was a blast and a worthy sending-off. So happy to have been part of it.

Have finally managed to visit the FHEL, @fhel.landerneau , in my birth city of Landerneau. A hugely impressive institution and a truly successful current exhibition “Animal!?”, with names like Marc Chagall, Marina Abramović, Alberto Giacometti or Louise Bourgeois alongside fantastic works from Necla Rüzgar, Petrit Halilaj & Álvaro Urbano. Thank you to director @mariepierre_bathany for taking the time for a chat and sharing her experience. So many parallels with what we are trying to achieve with the PoMo in Trondheim with regards to making art available for all, and showing that art is truly alive outside of the European capitals. A truly inspiring visit.
