The 24-second shot clock monument in Armory Square — a tribute to one of Syracuse’s greatest contributions to basketball — is going up in its new location today.
The towering digital timepiece has a new home in front of @mostsyracuse , next to the main entrance.
The Syracuse monument, designed by architect Bob Haley, was first unveiled in 2005 in the park at 290 W. Jefferson St. An anonymous donor paid more than $50,000 to put it up.
