I’ve sat in restaurants from different countries, tasted cultures far from home, listened to languages I don’t even understand and this is what I’ve learnt:
The laughter is the same.
The hunger is the same.
The joy of sharing a meal is the same.
Somehow, the generations before us were taught division.. taught to fight, to draw lines so deep they forgot we’re all human first.
Maybe we are the change the world needs. The generation that chooses connection over conflict, unity over division. And slowly, we’ll rise until the world becomes what it was always meant to be, One!
Some conversations don’t happen on stages. They happen quietly but they carry power.
I’ve seen firsthand that change is possible.
That barriers can be questioned.
That narratives can be rewritten.
Being Nigerian is not a limitation, it’s a force. 🇳🇬
