Last destination before heading back home - Dublin! Hardly enough time to see everything, but was able to go on a nice walk out in Howth, have some good food, check out the Temple Bar area, Dublin Castle, and try some proper Guinness (they weren’t lying). Hope to enjoy a proper stay in Ireland in the future - it’s beautiful here
Enjoyed the last few days in London! Went to museums and the National Gallery, saw Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, etc. And walked around Piccadilly Circus at night. Trip is coming to a close soon!
Took a day trip out to Chester today! Got an unintentionally-private Roman guided walking tour, took a tour of all the high-up nooks and crannies of the Chester cathedral, and walked along the full city walls.

Second post-SAS day excursion took us to Whitby. The Abbey was super cool, awesome fish and chips, and cool Dracula-related stuff. Unsurprisingly much cooler than the Whitby in Ontario 😉
Weird and amazing to be doing sightseeing again for a day-trip in York following the very excellent SAS conference in Middlesbrough. Great walking tour lead by a self-described “pirate-looking man”
Did some hanging out in Harajuku today! Pretty much just a lot of looking at cute things, including a short visit to a cat cafe, because of course. I’m now in the market for some k a w a i i t-shirts that are big boi sized, Harajuku has inspired me.
Also finished off with a quick walk around Shibuya 😁
