Yesterday I experienced one of the greatest emotions of my life: making it into the top 3 in the world at World Class. This achievement is not only mine, but belongs to all the people who supported me, stood by my side, and fought with me throughout this incredible journey. @paradiso_barcelona 🙏❤️
A huge thank you to everyone who believed in me, encouraged me, and helped me along the way. Big Congratulations to @felice_spiritssommelier 🏆❤️, and also to all the competitors who made this competition so special with their talent, passion, and friendship.

È con immenso piacere che ho accolto la notizia del premio come miglior bartender italiano all’estero 2024.
È per me una grande emozione e desidero ringraziare la @redazione_bargiornale , ideatrice della competizione Barawards.
Condivido questa bella soddisfazione con tante persone, innanzitutto con @giacomoloris_ che ha avuto fiducia in me fin dall’inizio della mia esperienza al @paradiso_barcelona e con tutto lo staff, che è un po’ la mia seconda famiglia e mi accompagna nel lavoro quotidiano.
Un grazie sincero va anche alla mia famiglia che mi ha sempre supportato, alla mia @katherinerakes_ ❤️e ai miei insegnanti dell’Ecole hôtelière di Châtillon, in Valle d’Aosta, in particolare al professor Victor Vicquéry, prematuramente scomparso, a cui devo davvero molto. A lui e al mio papà dedico questo premio, che spero di meritare e che non considero un traguardo ma uno stimolo per continuare con impegno e entusiasmo il mio lavoro.

@armanigabriele is an Italian bartender from the Aosta Valley, the 2025 Bartender of the Year @worldclass.spain and currently Bar Supervisor at @paradiso_barcelona .
Today he shares his specs, prep and insights with the community!
Gabriele’s journey in hospitality began at a very young age, growing up in his family’s restaurant, where he learned that great service is built on care, precision, and genuine emotional connection with people.
Creativity is at the core of his work. He develops cocktails that aim to transform complex ideas into accessible and memorable experiences, always connected to memory, territory, and emotion.
Sustainability is also an essential part of his approach: he works with conscious ingredients and processes to reduce environmental impact without compromising flavor or guest experience.
In 2025, he represented Spain at the @worldclass global final in Toronto, where he achieved a world wide 2nd place!
Alongside his work behind the bar, he is involved in projects such as the Barcelona Cocktail Fest, international collaborations, and the development of new techniques within @paradiso_lab .
Gabriele Armani continues to evolve with the goal of bringing value both to the guest experience and to the industry through creativity, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to hospitality.

At Paradiso Lab, we shared another glimpse of Oltre with friends and colleagues from the international industry: a first look at the next cocktails arriving this June.
From Pa amb tomàquet, an interpretation that speaks from its origins, to Wabi Sabi, where the experience begins from the very first sip. Origen, a refreshing non-alcoholic creation that finds beauty through unique glassware.
We also revealed, just for a moment, one of the most unexpected pieces of the menu: a development where technique and physics come together to create a movement that simulates nature right before the guest’s eyes.
Oltre is beginning to reveal itself. 💫

✨ OLTRE · Next expressions ✨ In OLTRE, each cocktail begins with an idea shaped through technique, perception, and contrast.
Piccolo e Grande explores the duality between fragility and strength. Inspired by Dalí’s elephants, it stands on a base that challenges visual logic, where what seems light carries the weight of tradition, gesture, and memory.
Illusion plays with perception from the very first moment. Served in a thermochromic glass that shifts from clear to black upon contact with the liquid, it transforms the visual experience before the first sip. Inside, a reinterpretation of the Bamboo where sherry and vermouth intertwine with notes of coffee and banana, reinforcing the idea that nothing is exactly as it seems.
Consomé a l’ast builds a clear expectation from the start through its form and presentation. The smoke, aroma, and garnish bring out the flavors of... well, that’s too much to give away, so you’ll just have to wait until this menu is released to find out for yourselves
