Hi there 👋 I’m Rhys. I’m the person behind ARK Visual, based in Melbourne, doing photography and videography since 2016.
A little about me 👨🦰
In addition to capturing weddings, I’m a senior mental health occupational therapist, a Muay Thai fighter and coach, a parkour athlete, and a fire twirl performer.
I hold a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and a Master’s in Forensic Mental Health. My work and studies reflect a passion for helping people live meaningful lives, even through tough times.
I fell into photography while filming parkour in my early 20s, which quickly opened doors to weddings, fashion, brands, and amazing people.
My style ✨
I’m relaxed and easygoing, but I don’t compromise on quality. I’ll show up ready to capture the moments you deserve.
I love natural, candid imagery, but I also know a few creative tricks to get those wow photos.
Weddings and events should feel fun. The best photos happen when you’re yourself, in the moment. I aim to capture the little, the big, and the moments you might miss along the way.

It’s such a fun prompt!
Holding on to your partner, one of you needs to try get a kiss, whilst the other dips, dives and dodges. Eventually though you need to give in and have a small kiss.
