Brickworld Chicago 2023 - I have been to a few lego conventions in Norway… but none can measure the scale of what I've experienced the past week at Brickworld Chicago. Physically seeing so many people you've known for years in one place was absolutely surreal. Not to mention all the new people I met and befriended. Also great meeting familiar faces from norwegian conventions.  I leave feeling mostly grateful and inspired, but also bittersweet, as I know it will be long until next time. This trip has been a tremendous milestone for me in terms of my "Lego Life", but also personally. A huge thanks goes to everyone at the @empirelug display. Meeting and hanging out with you all in person was a phenomenal experience, for which I am very grateful. It's quite remarkable to be able to speak the same "lego-language" with people you've never even met.  I purchased lights, minifigures, sets and more. Be on the lookout for those in future builds! I managed to bring with me 3 display pieces; Deltasquad on Geonosis, Order 66 on Pillio and The Battle for the Tree of Souls(Avatar). Shoutout to the boys in the @avatar_atla_collab ! Of course I wanted to make a build using my strengths, terrain and Dark Orange.😄 One of my favorite aspects of this build was incorporating lights, as I think they added a lot to the immersion of the scene.
