Today's shave features the Turkish made Arko shaving cream and Cologne. This particular one labelled 'Cool', suggests a very fresh, and perhaps mentholated product.
The combined cost of both the cream and Cologne came to an unbelievable £2.50 at the local supermarket, so I approached the shave with rather low expectations.
The shaving cream produced a lovely lather, and the slickness throughout was off the charts! Excellent indeed. It's a fresh fragrance, but I didn't detect any menthol.
The Cologne : Cool? Yes. Fresh fragrance? Yes. Menthol? No. Alcohol level? 🤯💥
All-in, a great shave, and where I had originally envisaged leaving the Arko at the hotel, seeing it as a novelty one-off experience, it definitely deserves to come back to Scotland in a few days time...£2.50 though! 😂

I've been loving the Yaqi Yanson well that's what I call it anyways 🤭🤣 So thought I'll give one of the worst blade's I've used anther chance. It started off pretty good until the second and third pass. That's when the irritation started kicking in. After I cleansed my face and applied some moisturiser I started noticing a bunch of weepers. So yeah I'll probably won't use these blades again. Might have to try them on the body shaves so they don't go to waste! 🤭🤣
