musicians often say that if the song doesn't come to you in the first 15 minutes you should delete it and start something else. I wrote the piano riff to this song in 2023 and it took me the next two years to finish the entire thing. I sidelined it many times to make something else but I always knew this one was special. Javed Akhtar said that art rubs your nose in the carpet and I felt exactly that while writing this song.
I believed in this idea that I stuck with it and kept driving through while it felt like my entire face burned off.
im not saying it's the best song in the world, I could have sung better, could have done more harmonies yada-yada but I'm so proud of this song. It sounds like art.
this project went through so many changes and had so many versions. This couldn't have been possible without rishab and Vishal. I always go to them looking for inspiration and they haven't let me down.....yet

I guess it’s also a #somethingonsaturday by coincidence. It's rained the whole day now and I wrote this an hour ago and I know that "I've been up all night" is factually inaccurate but it was great to have this sudden burst of creative energy and post something after long. Hope you like☺️.
