LIFE UPDATE Today, i got to play the show of a lifetime opening for @officialjackwhite , but more importantly I'm so lucky to announce i am cancer free for 6 months.
My biggest thanks go to my love @jessiebandita , family, bandmates, and dear friends that have seen me through it all to this point. Stay true and stay kind. Keep fighting.

Here is a long overdue update for those who were wondering! Scroll on if ya dont wanna read my ramble.
Surgery to remove cancer from my body was a success. I am recovering, but its been revealing to find out more about pain tolerance. Nothing like having your guts rearranged and not in a fun way. At least it was all for science.
The road to get here was a little bumpy to say the least. After a great response to chemotherapy and radiation a routine scan found a spot on that pesky liver. Surgery was put on hold. After another more detailed scan it turned out the spot disappeared or was an artificial artifact within the image. Weird stuff, but a win is a win right?
After consulting my team it was decided that there was emerging evidence that surgery could wait or even be put off entirely because of my response to treatment. Life kinda got back to normal. I was able to play some shows, work, and be out in about general. All that changed i started as this devil reappeared once more. You know what they about the devil right? Better to be known... We course corrected and hit the operating room yesterday with no parachute to handle that demon cluster of cells.Its crazy to think its been a year long battle and i think i oughta recognize who helped me get here.
My deepest gratitude goes out to all who have reached out from near and far, those who survived cancer and shared their infinite wisdom, those who donated to my fundraiser and those who shared it far and wide, sent grocery cards, cooked meals, raised money at their place of worship, played benefit shows for me, raised money at their bar, sent me care packages, and most importantly sent me words of encouragement and support. I dont even know how i can begin repay the kindness.
I of course wouldnt have made it this far without the unending support of my love Jessie, my Mom,my Dad, and my Sister. They have shouldered this burden with me.
Your actions and intentions will help carry me forward in my fight for health. From bottom of my heart thank you!
