Feeling very grateful for our incredible festival run with @paintmebluefilm — and what a perfect way to close out the year, screening with @boweryfilmfestival at @villageeastbyangelika on the night before my birthday!
“Paint Me Blue” has been a full chapter of my life and I have been living in this world one way or another since early 2023 — from writing and rehearsals, to filming and post-production, and now the festival circuit. To share this labor of love with audiences has been an honor and a privilege. I am so proud of everyone who brought this film to life, and grateful for the bonds that we forged by crafting such an intimate piece together.
As 2025 comes to a close, I have been reflecting a lot on the past while looking towards the future. We are living through cynical, uncertain times…but in the end, I know that art and love will endure, and the stories we leave behind will light the way.
Happy holidays and love to all 💙
This week was an adventure on the festival circuit as “Paint Me Blue” held its NEW YORK PREMIERE at @yofifest followed by our NYC PREMIERE at @queensworldfilmfest !
As a team of New Yorkers, it was awesome to be a part of these local, community-oriented festivals driven by bold leadership and creative storytelling. Our deepest gratitude extends to YoFiFest & Queens World Film Festival for sharing our film with audiences alongside a unique collection of works.
We have more exciting news on the horizon…stay tuned! 🎥 🎨 💃🏻 🎉
