This week the doctors lifted most my dietary restrictions, told me I’m good to travel again, and blessed being inside at restaurants! Beyond that though they said I was in a complete remission. While I’m thrilled the treatment did what it was supposed to do , we’ve been told this before.. so instead of popping champagne we’re staying cautiously optimistic.
We’re thankful for everyone who leant a hand, leant an ear, sent a text, sent a pack, or sent some kinda love. Apologies if I was slow to respond to any of it, I definitely felt all of it ❤️🩹 Community continues to be the greatest gift of all. 2026 BALL UP TOP!!!
The update from the cancerchella lymphoma tent is we’re done with bridge chemo, and now on to the BEAM chemo / stemcell transplant. Which means this week is 6 days in a row of them launching the nukes into my bloodstream, followed by 180 days of isolation while my immune system restarts from zero. Essentially I’ll be reborn. A whole ass grown baby 😂 It also means I’ll go back to looking like Dr. Evil’s cat for a while. Or a dolphin that mostly wears evisu
Between bridge chemo and transplant I’ve been trying to make time to do fly shit, love on my person, spend time with family and friends, and live as normal a life as possible. Thankful for all the love and support we’ve gotten from our amazing community, it has been a difference maker countless times over the course of this journey. Now we’re in the Home stretchhh. Pls send movie and show recs that aren’t ass for the 180 day home sentencing 😂 love yall see you soon! ❤️
Happy bday to the love of my life and my best friend. Feels like we’ve been all over the world together, but when we had to stay stationary, we found ways to bring the world to us. Forever greatful for that. Looking forward to a life of meeting our challenges and celebrating our wins. Love you bubs

Raj’s first gold record. Back when this came together I remember Raj was just starting to buzz and Nima set up sessions with Pharrell and Mozzy in the same weekend 😂 Don’t get me wrong the fact we were boutta be in the same room as Pharrell was absolutely nuts.. but the real life fan in me was even more hyped for the Mozzy session. Knocked the record out and DaveO flew us out to Atlanta to shoot the video shortly thereafter. Maybe Raj’s first trip for a feature. This song woke whole new audiences up to what he could do and opened up a new lane. I keep betting on Faraji even when it’s risky. The mantra. Congrats brother well deserved @rexxliferaj . Got to leave the Bay Area for the first time this year since going thru treatment. feeling immensely thankful for all the kind words and gestures, all the love and support i received that helped us get here. I’d never say cancer was a blessing, but it was a reminder of how blessed I am to have my community. Cus of yall it was easy to find silver linings on every step of this journey. I’m forever grateful. I look forward to returning the favor however I can, for the rest of my life. That’s a life worth living ❤️
10 years ago I reached out to @nima_empire about an internship at @empire . Who woulda thunk that exhange would beget a whole career, a brother & mentor, life long friendships, and my purpose.
Can’t begin to express my gratitude to @ghazi for all he’s done for me personally and our city. Doing this music shit at the highest level in San Francisco is still wild to me. I’ve helped EMPIRE grow as a company and in turn it helped me grow as a person.
