Switzerland Sept ‘25
Took a couple rolls to the Alps on the @explrers.club Retreat. Beautiful scenes ⛰️
I went on this trip solo (this shouldn’t be surprising anymore lol) but met so many lovely people. Had some beautiful conversations and made some great memories.
Large up the Explorers team for putting this experience together 🧡

Next investment might be an SLR - I think it’s time.
My pockets are gonna bleed put I reckon it’ll be worth it; film does have my heart.
There was a time I’d cut any portraits that weren’t in focus - glad I’m able to see the beauty in their entirety now.

Paris, June ‘25
I had no idea whether these exposures were going to make it because my last roll came back blank, but - we rejoice. The Canon MC lives to see another day.
I’ve missed the excitement of getting film back.
Will be picking the cameras up a lot more in this last leg of the year.

Loved being apart of this day, and love how these shots came together 🙏🏾
Q1 done
Things I’ve been enjoying; food, work, new experiences in London, spending more time with friends, travelling, spontaneity, spending money, not spending money, reevaluating my relationship with materialism and capitalism, learning and unlearning what my passions are, growing, watching those around me grow, food again, taking breaks, breathing, reading, loving, being.

A story of me learning how to use my new Pentax PC35AF
First issue was, ironically, me obstructing the lens with my finger - this is an easy fix that calls for learning the layout of this camera face, and adding that extra line of thought before shooting a candid
Second was the focus. In all honesty I did read how to use the autofocus feature in the manual, and then completely ignored the instructions. This camera is from the 80s, and although I bought the best condition edition I could find, I think the viewfinder’s schematic is busted, so I decided to wing it. Will try again.
My last takeaway, is that it does very well in lowlight situations at a portrait level, with the flash (those shots aren’t in this post) which us exactly what I bought it for - so very happy about that.
Going to take some more test shots, but at the moment, my canon MC (first love) is taking the cake for daylight, non flash photography, and for that classic point and shoot capability with great autofocus accuracy.

Currently in the process of creating a new portfolio and wanted to share some of my favourite photos from the selection.
If you’ve been here a while you know I’ve had various different portfolios lol.
There’s always been a struggle, for me, of finding balance between sharing what I thought people wanted to see, sharing what was good enough to share (it hasn’t always been good) and then sharing what I love irregardless of external perception/opinion.
Moving forward I’m focusing on the latter - learning and practicing the art of sharing the things that I love the most, which will inevitably attract those similar experiences and sentiments.
This is also the first time in the process of creating a portfolio that I feel like I have a full body of work that is both communicative of what I love to capture, how I capture and is cohesive.
Very happy about that 😊
Anywho, enjoy 🧡
