Unforgettable spring. Finishing up my first year as full-time faculty at ISU, sixth year at CG, and also my dog is cute. Always feeling fortunate to be involved with such incredible students and organizations across the board. Art, and expression in life as a whole, is so important.
It's been a wonderfully packed last few months... studio concert at ISU, Center Grove making Grand Nats semifinals, a bunch of new gear from Innovative Percussion, and shows with the ISO and ICO! (Ben Hur live to film was a great time)
Nothing rings in the holiday season like playing ten shows of Yuletide with the Indianapolis Symphony! Very grateful to take part in the run again this year and to have family and friends be able to come and enjoy the show.

Some highlights of the past couple months -
A week of Carmina Burana with the Indianapolis Symphony, a week in Miami with Nu Deco Ensemble and the amazing Andrew Bird, and coming up soon... WGI Championships with Center Grove Indoor!!
Percussion is such a gift because of the variety of opportunities it offers. I'm grateful to be able to spread myself out in several areas, and to work with so many amazing people.
Dusting off some classic @nudecoensemble licks for the upcoming concert in Vail on Thursday... always keeps the chops up! "B.O.B." from the Outkast suite, then a little holiday spirit from "Chanukah 5776"
Excellent week with @nudecoensemble and @tankandthebangas !! Always a thrill to take part in such incredible musicianship from the orchestra and the guest artists. (also, checked off the bucket list: performing the xylophone part to Appalachian Spring)
On a separate note, very proud of Center Grove MB for qualifying for both BOA Indy Super Regional Finals and State Finals in the same day!
Having a great week with the Indianapolis Symphony! Performing an entire program of Stephen Sondheim with some amazing guests... Sadly, I'm not the one that gets to play the rubber duck.
Thrilled to be back in Miami for @nudecoensemble with @allenstone and @dhodgeworld tonight at 8pm!! Also featuring the music of Paul Hindemith, Lauryn Hill and Radiohead. Just look at that section setup. Going to be an amazing show!
