The track “Vantablonde” was originally written as a drum solo for the Seoul, Korea Drum Festival. But after the event, the rest of Night Verses composed around it and it eventually turned into a song on our album “From the Gallery of Sleep.”

It feels like a real bucket list moment to finally get my first signature cymbal. I really appreciate Meinl for letting me have so much input on both the sonic and visual details. I I also love that it’s an extremely limited run. Only 100 will ever be made.
For those wondering, the bell sounds awesome. It cuts like crazy, while still sounding versatile. I’ll get some videos up soon. It feels really similar to the ride tone used on the last 2 @nightverses albums. Also, the design was hand drawn and they did an excellent job in nailing all the fine line work.
Thank you to everyone who bought one in the first week, thank you to @meinlcymbals for trying something new with me, and also a very special thank you to @allanfausnaught for working with me on art cymbal designs over the last few years.
