over 2 months of travelling, moving across countries, and not sleeping in the same bed for more than a week. life has been extremely unstable lately, and I’ve neglected my own practice a lot. it’s easy to fall into the trap of feeling like a “bad yogi”. but then I remember yoga was never just about the asanas. it’s in the breath. it’s in the way I speak to the supermarket cashier. In the way I speak to myself. it’s stopping for a few minutes and sit with to my thoughts without judging them, and without identifying with them. it’s to listen. to observe. it’s in the way I nourish and care for the body I inhabit.
so yeah, I’ve still been practicing yoga. yoga can never really leave me. It’s the practice that grounds me and helps me feel at home wherever I am. and then I remember that the physical practice, although it makes me feel strong and energised, is only one part of it.
so I smile, it’ll come back, it was never really gone. i’ll make space for it again: new habits, new rituals, new routines. it’s all about intentionality 🌸

someone once told me:
“the happiest people I know are slowing down, not speeding up.”
i didn’t understand it back then.
i thought more meant better.
more work.
more plans.
more trips.
more everything.
i filled every empty space in my calendar and called it ambition.
i was busy, but i wasn’t present.
eventually, my body made the decision for me.
burnout is a loud teacher.
i’m still learning how to slow down.
how to rest without guilt.
how to release the pressure to constantly prove myself.
slower doesn’t mean less.
for me, it means finally being here.
before starting this journey, i wrote a letter to myself. i almost didn’t go, deeply broken, paralyzed in a life that wasn’t mine.
i thought i needed to do more to heal: more breathwork, more meditation, more coaching, more therapy, more exercise.
the truth: i needed space.and silence. to really listen to myself.
this trip, and YTT, gave me exactly that. a deeply transformative experience, no time to overthink, silence from all the noise. completely stripped down, undressed, shedding layers i didn’t even realize i was carrying. and then it hit: with less, i am more. disregarding all the identities i created for myself, all the elaborate ways i developed to escape the truth, sitting still, being instead of doing. maybe for the very first time.
like all important journeys, this one started from within. and it’s just the beginning of the rest of my life🐞
I can’t thank enough @yogaunionbali , my teachers @gourav_yoga@_a_man96@natalya_marcove@the_reading_yogi and all my fellow travelers in this journey. you all taught me way more than I can express with words.
Just movement, and nothing else. When the mind is racing, allow yourself to flow ✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧

Thank you for joining us for the very first episode of Motional Release! We are deeply grateful for your presence and energy, which made this event so special. It was wonderful to move, breathe, and connect with all of you, and we hope you left feeling lighter, more grounded, and inspired.
A heartfelt thank you for your generous donations, which we have devolved to a GoFundMe initiative supporting sustainable food relief in Lebanon. Your contribution helps make a meaningful impact beyond the mat.
This is just the beginning of what we hope will become a growing and supportive community. Our vision is to create a space where we can come together to explore the power of movement, mindfulness, and connection.
We can’t wait to see you again for the next sessions, where we’ll continue this journey of release and self-discovery together. Stay tuned for updates, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any thoughts or suggestions—we’d love to hear from you!
