@savsastry is a DJ and producer whose musical roots trace back to the South Indian classical arts scene of California, where her training in Kuchipudi sparked an early love for rhythm and tribal percussion. That foundation now pulses through her cross-genre sets that weave deep house, soulful electronica, trap, Amapiano, Gom, and global percussive sounds into one fluid expression. Her sound is a reflection of her diasporic identity: grounded in heritage, shaped by movement, and always in dialogue with spirit.
Her sets are more than soundscapes: Sav treats each mix as a vessel to be filled with emotion, memory, and meaning. She builds each set to be an opportunity for collective co-creation between artist and audience. Sav’s sound honors both ancestry and imagination, reminding us that our cultural roots and identity deserve to be centered in our creation.
