I am extremely proud to announce my next concert: Little Sparrow at the Villa Terrace June 14th, at 2:00pm. Little Sparrow is a collection of work choreographed by Ashley Ray Garcia with guest choreographer @jasmineuras This concert embodies the concept of our relationship to memories, and they shape us throughout our lives. It heavily conceptualizes the moments we wish to hold onto, the moments we wish to leave behind, and the moments we forgot even happened at all. How do our relationships with our own memories shape who we are as we grow older? Little Sparrow is a show that holds tenderness as the dancers navigate through shared memories, moments, and life experiences. A selection of work within this concert is inspired by the exhibition currently at the Villa Terrace by Sasha Kinens: Momenti.  Tickets available in bio Dancers: @emmaabecker @kasey_eckhardt @lauren.fleury @abbyknueppel @libbylu10 @pas_de_bour.rae Photography: @shotbyhalle Poster Design: @aidenprincegraphics

For The Wolves: ABBY Abby Knueppel is currently a second-year going towards her BFA in Dance at the Unviersity of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her dance background originates from her many years of instruction at Nancy Dianne Studio of Dance, where she is now a dance teacher herself. Specifically, throughout her time in the dance department at UWM, Abby has had a great amount of wonderful experiences. Some of these being her work with guest artists Alfonzo Cervera and Aysha Upchurch, her attendance and performances at the American College Dance Association (ACDA) conference, and her ability to perform her choreographic solo at a dance festival through the Madison Contemporary Dance Company. She, now, is just completely ecstatic to take part in Ashley Ray Garcia’s “For The Wolves” to express her transition into maturity both in movement performance as well as in womanhood along with all the other wonderfully talented dancers being presented in the various inspiring works. @abbyknueppel 📸: @shotbyhalle
