today is a big day for me: i received an official diagnosis for autism spectrum disorder! while it may not seem like a lot, i have known for a long time that my brain works differently from other peoples, and have spent so much of my existence focusing on making other people comfortable while allowing myself to remain uncomfortable, without having the right words to justify why my needs are different from other people. i have endured people othering me for my sensory needs, and making me feel crazy. but i am not crazy, i am autistic! i am truly so fortunate to finally have this little piece of paper that makes my whole life, my struggles, my experiences, make sense. that is all, please enjoy this picture of me and my best buddy goji đđââŦâī¸đĒˇđĢđđ
