One look at Denali’s scrunchy little face and you’ll have a hard time not falling in love with her 🥹 This adorable French Bulldog was rescued from the Chinese dog meat trade by our rescue partner Hope4Fur, with support from the Andrew Sabin Family Foundation. After everything she’s been through, she’s finally safe at ARF Hamptons, getting the second chance she deserves, and ready for the good stuff: soft beds, kind people, and a life that feels like home. The world is still a little overwhelming for Denali. She can be shy at first, taking her time to feel safe and settled. But once she trusts you, she gently leans in for affection and offers the sweetest little face kisses. Dog friends make all the difference for her. Around other pups, Denali visibly relaxes, gains confidence, and shows more of her playful, happy spirit. After getting their sweat on, participants were greeted by adoptable pups Rose, Peter, Dexter, and our longtime resident Chance. These pups soaked up endless love, cuddles, and belly rubs from everyone who came out, and we’re thrilled to share that Dexter was adopted shortly after the class! This kid-friendly edition of ARF Hamptons’ FREE lecture series “Bark the Question” is designed to help kids (and their parents!) better understand the dogs in their lives. Professional dog trainer and behavior consultant Veronica Grzybowska, CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA, will teach kids how dogs communicate, what they like, what they don’t, and how to build safe, happy friendships with our four-legged companions. Sparky, a beautiful 4-year-old Old English Sheepdog, is still waiting for her forever home 🤍 She is one of the sweetest, smartest, and most loving dogs I’ve ever met — honestly like a little polar bear. I was lucky enough to daycare her for a few days, and it’s truly hard not to fall in love with a dog like her. What touched me the most is how gentle and well-behaved she is. When you take her out somewhere, she will quietly sit in the car and patiently wait for you to come back. No barking, no anxiety — just calmly waiting because she trusts you completely.
