It was tough couple of days of weed wacking, but I managed through the trigger release on my right thumb to get a 100ft perimeter clearance around the cabin. I’m glad I did & now ready for the fire season.
This @calmbo Heater landed safe and sound through the winter elements. I remember the first time I met Calm at AGE in Alexis Park in Vegas, in a room with Eusheen and possibly Natey, if I remember correctly. The pieces he had created were a series of green splats . It was cool. It was different. It was organic and raw and fun. I have talked to him and watched his work evolve over many years. The amount of time and work this gentleman has put in, along with the travels around the world and learning new styles and techniques, has brought him to an extremely high level in the glass community. The Burdlings, Owl , and all sorts of amazing patterns and sculptural techniques are beautiful and have a unique function. I appreciate him as a human, an artist, and a friend. This UV Recycler is such a gem. There are very few of this style out there, to the best of my knowledge. It is available and comes with glass and quartz accessories, a very well-padded Pelican case, a mat , and slaps. These beautiful photos were taken by the legend @areysocal . This year hit hard! Two close and very dear friends earned their wings this past year. Yervant ‘Von’ Babasin on March 21st and Tamre ‘Tammy’ Shuman on May15th. Both touched my heart and soul to the core. Von was a prolific bassist who was passionate, hard working and a super proud father. He was my brother from another mother, a true way back old school homie from the neighborhood. He was my best man 26 years ago and also last year at our 25th year celebration/church wedding. Tammy was the most kind, generous, and devoted mother. Both Tammy and Chad were my best of friends. We shared a lot of fabulous times together whether at the mountains, beach or just hanging out at their house. I miss them dearly, often thinking of them with tender thoughts and a smile. Thank you for being a part of my life.

Yay! It’s official! After over 50 years of going to Caliente, CA (thanks to the Redondo familia), I am finally the proud owner of 10 acres of land next to the BLM, thanks to my wife, Mark, Angie, & Yvonne of Placer Title Co. ‘My Lil Cabin on the Prairie’ once known as ‘The Hacienda’ will now be ‘Rancho Reyna’. I can’t wait to make this little precious piece of land my very own. I’m blessed, grateful & overjoyed! It’s small, but perfect for me.🏠⛰️🪵🔥👴🏼🌙🐀🐿️🍻✨
