The summer â24 drought upstate brought prolific spider activity to a thinning local creek, covering grasses and a small trees in intricate webs. As part of the residency I loved visiting the spot at dawn, the first sunrays exposing the work of the spiders -and here the first rains.

The scent brings the galactic abstraction to the senses, composed around Ginger Lily, wet ethereal wispy flowers woven thru creekside autumn grasses and rain.
Ginger Lily, Saffron, Oak leaves, Sweet Clover, Iris Root, Sweet Flag Root. Locally infused plants: fallen Oak leaves at Byrdcliffe artist colony, creekside Wild Iris root.
