The Official Lublin Film Festival 2025 Opening Animation
This year’s Festival theme is THE STATE, a direct reference to the thousandth anniversary of the coronation of the first king of Poland.
Creating the Lublin Film Festival opening animation was a significant creative challenge. Beyond the main theme, the piece had to visually incorporate concepts such as: cooperation, dialogue, power, culture, the crown, and propaganda.
Starting point and key inspiration was this year’s festival poster, designed by Ania and Rafał Ciuba.
I was responsible for the concept and full execution of the animation. For a few specific shots, I received excellent technical support from
@arektop , who prepared essential simulations in Houdini.
