Areem Plus Global Consultancies and the Czech Health Technology Institute (CHTI) (Czech Republic) have signed a Cooperation and Collaboration Agreement to advance health-technology cooperation in support of projects implementing by Areem Plus. The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr Tomáš Kuchta, Deputy Minister/Director General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. This collaboration is expected to add strong value to Areem Plus-led initiatives through the integration of Czech expertise, systems, and advanced health technologies.
This partnership is being advanced in the spirit of the growing bilateral relations between the Government of the United Arab Emirates and the Government of the Czech Republic, reflecting a shared commitment to practical, high-impact collaboration in the health sector.

A flagship of the Sheikh Zayed Humanitarian Mission, this project reflects the UAE’s commitment to global health and humanitarian development.
Areem Plus is honoured to have been appointed as the Project Implementer in 2023 by the Government of UAE, commencing with the groundbreaking in November 2023 and completing design, construction, testing and commissioning in just one year.
The 130-bed specialist hospital features advanced diagnostic and imaging facilities, including a state-of-the-art radiology suite and a Hybrid Cath Lab-a rare and sophisticated addition in government healthcare settings in the region.
The hospital blends modern design with Indonesia’s cultural identity, rooted in the principles of healing architecture. Natural light, art, local materials, craftsmanship, and tropical landscape integration shape a warm, uplifting, and human-centred environment-reflecting UAE design excellence while honouring the Indonesian context.
Sustainability anchors the project, aligned with the UAE’s Year of Sustainability (2024) vision. The hospital incorporates solar power, rainwater harvesting (among the first in Indonesian hospitals), and ecology-first landscape strategies, supported by local materials, regional craftsmanship, and climate-responsive design.
