This is dad and I in his restaurant on the Tweed River, where I spent my days scooting around the dining room in a baby walker, tied by a long rope to the bar.
Turned out to be an excellent precursor to a job I have loved with my heart and soul. I finished 12 years as editor of

I love food - buying, growing, cooking, and eating it. I love restaurants, cafes and bars also, and I am so deeply grateful I’ve been able to spend my days championing all these things with people I adore.
