๐๐ฏ ๐๐ฉ๐บ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ด is the first monograph by Miami photographer, Martina Tuaty born 1996 in Florence, Italy. This publication is an ongoing body of work made in Miami, Florida that explores ideas about time, daily life, and connection as a way to encapsulate shared and familiar human experiences. Although this city is constantly in flux, when you linger and truly observe, the pace here can also be quite slow- the long wait for the arrival of mango season and summertime, the abandoned building on the corner that just keeps getting painted over and over again, and the way the shadows grow longer as you watch the day go by. These photographs offer a slower perspective of this quickly moving and changing city, encouraging the viewer to slow down and notice the subtle changes- to connect with others as a way to ground themselves in their environment.
Ardent Projects is pleased to announce the release of our next publication titled ๐๐ฏ ๐๐ฉ๐บ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ด, a monograph featuring photographic works by Martina Tuaty.
Next Saturday, June 14th from 5-9pm, we will be returning to our good friends, Dale Zine for the release in conjunction with a gallery show featuring works from the publication.

These Places That Once Were Seen is the first monograph by Miami photographer Ivan Santiago. These places are where memories, time, and nostalgia collide. They may seem ordinary, but they hold a special moment of calm and intimacy in their banality. These places connect land and architecture in a symbolic way. We often overlook them, as we go on with our daily routines. Yet, These Places hold a specific memory Seen, (by all of us, every day) with a divine awareness manifested in the innate simplicity of the landscape. The final product may appear as concrete structures, but it is the spirit of witnessing which counts. These places instigate our dreams. They form a common well in our minds, a sort of deja-vu, they remind us of what we once saw.

Vantage Point is a collaborative publication between American artist Daniel Everett and Swedish artist Mรฅrten Lange.

The project started as a conversation in 2016 at an exhibition for Danielโs book โThroughout the Universe in Perpetuityโ (รtudes, 2015) during the โOne Thousand Booksโ Art Book Festival at the Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen. Mรฅrten was in attendance and instantly recognized one of Danielโs images. It turned out that he had taken the exact same image from the exact same place/vantage point that Daniel had, just a short time apart in Tokyo. This amazing coincidence prompted the two to begin working together to compile more images from their individual trips to Japan to be shown together in a book.
