LEVELING UP…
Here’s my original character, Ash, in his next appearance in my upcoming manga, Ashes Of Eden issue 2.
Over the years of honing my sketches into the final version of these books, I am reminded, often, that I’m drawing from pencils I drew and laid out pre and during pandemic. But it’s always an opportunity to improve. Much to the contrary of what I thought back then, this is not faster than making films, let me tell you. But I’m glad I didn’t wait until it was perfect to take the leap and get started.
Done.
Not perfect.
Sometimes perfect takes 4 or 5 years. Now it’s been 6. And only now is my page matching my imagination almost 1/1. So enjoy this level up! And if you feel that pull in you… Start. Today. Don’t wait. Because whatever calls you isn’t waiting. Perfect comes later.

And for you brave souls that have recently set sail with us 🤗 - Ahead of upcoming releases and partnerships, and kicking off the 2026 festival run (Gahhhh!!!! 🤩) @arcpunkcomics is getting a revamped look! With this next chapter, I wanted to stay true to our roots and the intention that went into crafting the first sigil that became the Arcpunk Logo. A symbol that honors ancient mystery traditions and studies, as well as speaks to something new found in something old - the “as above so below, as within so without” of our mission. This new logo design still retains the hand-painted brush strokes of the original Arcpunk Sigil, and now features a sleeker, more symmetrical shape language, and a bolder, streamlined text logo companion to help make our mark as we move into bigger spaces.

Don’t second guess us, though. The bespoke nature and punk sprit of how we do what we do is still at the heart of our imprint: Arc = Ancient. Punk for the People. Stories for your Soul. Media Literacy fought for and championed by a renegade publishing house that is dedicated to uplifting Stories told by people, made with human hands, and uncovering ancient secrets, hidden wisdom, and Magick in the everyday. We’re leveling up and just getting started at bringing the Arcpunk way to a convention and a comic shop near you.

As we prep for print, I’m chipping away at the on the last few pages and working with @arcpunkcomics editor, @contrarychameleon , to put the finishing touches on Ashes Of Eden, issue 2!
4 pages, clean-ups, continuity, and one last Editor meeting are the only things that stand between us hitting SEND to our printing parter, and starting to fulfill to our beautiful Kickstarter Backers! As with all of our publications, Kickstarter and our VIP season pass are the best ways to read Ashes Of Eden before it goes to major conventions.

Oof, A.I. slop-prompters are cooked! I just made this with my own hands, eyes, and skills! My 2nd comic made by human hands is now in editorial and almost done. So here’s a little peek at my layers before it comes out of the oven. This is shaping up to be one of my favorite 2-page spreads in the book, and there are a lot of them. 2025, you’ve been incredible to me. Thank you for a great year of getting to make amazing art with incredible people!
Outside of tackling health priorities on quite a few fronts (thanks Covid 6.0 and then secret physical therapy for a good chunk of the year), rabbit-holing deep on making Manga and Comics, booking my first book tour, and getting Ashes Of Eden on the shelves at our friends, @dungeonbooks , it was a BIG year for album and single covers AND show posters! Which means a lot of badass creators whom I love also had a stellar year of bringing stellar things to life! Thank You for entrusting me to elevate the visual and graphic design part of your babies.
I can’t tell you enough how much I am literally fueled by seeing you all win and I’m ridiculously grateful for the chance to do what I love - getting to wake up every day, use my gifts, create with awesome people, and make you look damn good doing what you love. For cash.
Truly, I’m blessed to get to create with each and every one of you. I can’t wait to see what we all make in 2026! Whatever this next year holds, don’t stop creating. Let’s give ‘em hell.

Side note: I’ve been deep in production on book 2 and thought I was going to miss the Frieren challenge, but I drew these over the past year, so have a couple of pics of Ash in the difficult angle! Maybe I’ll post a video later of how I draw this under the chin shot.
