ARB is introducing a new, streamlined approach to routes to registration, designed to be clearer, fairer and more accessible, while continuing to protect the public. Planned for implementation by spring 2027, the changes include: • A new Registration Assurance Process (RAP) • New routes to registration • A new approach to the Prescribed Examination • A new Readiness for Practice UK (RfPUK) module for international applicants As part of these reforms, individuals with ARB-accredited Part 2 and Part 3 qualifications (or Part 2 via Prescribed Exam) will no longer require Part 1 to apply for registration, and the Part 1 Prescribed Examination will be discontinued following final sittings in 2026.
