Appreciation post. “MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING” directed by @thomasgwaites . What an incredible experience it was to portray Benedick in a six week run of this Shakespearean comedy classic. Surrounded by the talented cast of the upcoming New York stars. This was a CHALLENGE. As a kid from Ukraine I can’t be grateful enough to even be seen on the New York stage, not to mention get a chance to perform using the old English language with a 16th century flair. I’m beyond grateful to @thomasgwaites who saw something in me and cast me in this role and put everything he had in this production. Thank you! A lot of lessons were learnt during the production of this play, even more were learnt after the production was over. But it’s undeniable that this off Broadway production got me in the best shape of my life artistically, physically and mentally.
