happy 30th birthday @re_games ! i’m relatively newer to resident evil than a lot of people. it’s not something i grew up with, not something i was ever into as a teenager. if you know me, you know my first capcom series was ace attorney, which has always been dear to my heart. in fact, i bought the uniqlo capcom 40th anniversary shirt for the ace attorney/ghost trick characters in the artwork, and have had leon kennedy, jill valentine and chris redfield on my back for a long time, without really knowing a lot about them 😭 but i always knew what resident evil was, had always heard of it, always knew those characters. and i guess i wanted to see what i was missing out on? the answer to that was, A LOT. very quickly, my life kind of turns around, and here i am now, making my way through those games whilst getting jump scared over and over. i fell in love with resident evil very quickly, and fell in love with ashley in particular, to begin with. she’s a testament to re4, a girl who was brave in times where she didn’t have a lot of choice about what was going on, and whilst unable to get out, she made that decision to be brave. that kind of spoke to me, in a way, as a girl around her age in that game. anyway, thought rant over! i love resident evil and im glad i get to share that through my love of cosplaying. happy 30th anniversary! #residentevil #ashleygraham #residentevilcosplay #ashleygrahamcosplay #capcom re re4 remake cosplay

We’re back!! And this time, we’re venturing into outer space… 👀🚀 I’m pleased to say that this time, and in all future meets, that we’ll be welcoming Mass Effect cosplayers/fans as well as Dragon Age! We’ll always primarily be a DA meet, but as there’s a lot of overlap between the fans, I thought it made sense to officially announce that Mass Effect cosplayers and non-cosplayers will be welcome here! The meet will be at **12:00pm** (so long as nothing changes!) and the meeting place will be determined a bit nearer the time. We have some lovely ideas on some freebies and things to give out, so stay tuned for that! Meet announcement will go up on the MCM page as soon as everything is determined. starfury flux saturday & sunday! a bit of an interesting con weekend, but i had a really good time with my biscuit brigade. it was my first time in birmingham, and i thoroughly enjoyed myself. i got to meet the wonderful cast of torchwood, attend their panel, ask them about biscuits for about five minutes…etc. the lovely @naokomori asked to post our torchwood cosplays on her instagram story, which she did, and was so wonderful to meet. she’s funny and kind and a downright amazing person. thank you naoko! @kaiowen75 is a right laugh, a wonderful guy who really gets a crowd involved and laughing away. i’ve always loved his character, rhys, and it’s been amazing to see he’s just as funny as him in real life. i’ve met @gdavidlloyd at megacon before, before i knew anything about torchwood, because i’m a big dragon age fan, as many know. i got to speak to him briefly about it as well as the witcher, and his appearance in the last episode of season 4! he’s so funny and kind and it was lovely to run into him at the end of con to say bye. most of all, i have my dear biscuit brigade to thank. @rainydays.27 , @waywardstarss , @lofi.cosplay & @quitethespectaclecosplay . (almost) every tuesday for the past few months we have binge watched torchwood from the beginning. every inside joke, every quote we repeat over and over, makes me realise how glad i am to have friends like you. we’ve spent the past three days together having fun and eating lots of good food, watching torchwood again, and finally starting class. you are such wonderful people and i’m glad to eat biscuits with you. we started because of a rant on what biscuits ianto was throwing in one specific episode of the show, and one cameo, two escape rooms and many nights on discord later, we got to meet the cast and hang out in brum together. thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ #torchwood #doctorwho #torchwoodcosplay #flux
