I am beyond grateful for being declared a winner of the 2025 Global Footwear Awards.
Thank you @globalfootwearawards for this incredible acknowledgement. As an independent designer and student, awarding my most passionately designed project of 2025 could not feel more rewarding.
Thank you to everyone who assisted me throughout the process of creating these shoes.
Especially, thank you to @benoit_meleard for pushing my design, and giving me these opportunities to excel.
This is just the beginning. Thank you for believing in me and following my journey. I love you all.

URBAN FILTER - Shield 1.0 in Red/Translucent Light Blue
The Urban Filter is a cycling eyewear collection inspired by my coming of age in my home city, Providence. My first real sense of freedom emerged when I was in middle school and my parents finally let me bike around the city on my own. While my rides were mostly through urban scenery, the euphoric sense of newfound freedom made every ride so vivid. The shape of the lense and frame draws details from modern infrastructure, while the flow into the temple area signifies the transformation of visual exploration turning into euphoric flow. With an athletic form, the glasses hug the face and temples or rest on a high nose bridge, and the angle and placement of the lens is meant to keep wind out of the eyes while cycling.
This pair from Urban Filter was made designed, modeled, dyed and constructed by myself for a collaboration with @noahdrew ‘s CYCLOSOMATIC senior fashion design collection

BB MULE
Gave my beaters to my best friend so I made these for myself. Prototype mule NFS. Made with the shoe last I got from @creativereusecenterri which I sculpted over to create a unique silhouette.

#footweardesign #shoemaking #footwear
My first ever footwear creation. A footwear sculpture that merges the wearer to their surroundings. Held by wires, the leather upper wraps upon the foot whilst maintaining geometric form, and clunky wood soles create feelings of groundedness when standing upon industrialized habitats.

STEEL IVY
CURRENTLY NFS UNTIL JUNE
This bag design incorporates multiple straps and handles that can be manuevered to hold the bag in many ways, mainly including handheld, over the shoulder, or as a backpack.
Steel ivy is sleek and clean as a luxury bag, but introduces a resin-coated apholstery fabric that adds a touch of avant-garde detailing. The corrugated steel-like visual texture and innate structure of the bag, along with the repeated three panel motif visible from any angle is where Steel Ivy’s name originates.

ENGINE bag
NFS
The engine, the heart of a vehicle. This bag follows futurist-steampunk design style while maintaining inspiration from a ribcage. This exoskeleton in meant to protect whatever is in the bag from any damage when dropped. The distribution of force and shock absorption through the tubes and wires allows for protection from standard human drop heights. Bag has been drop tested with large class cups. Lined with a thick canvas, the outer material is double layered nylon mesh which creates a gorgeuos reflective visual texture. Made for a class project with material experiementation and technical design exploration.
Happy holidays
