Wow! what an event that was, here's my re imagined mix from Galactic grove vol 4, when I had loaded my flash drive in to do some work I realized I was loaded into @cosar__ and friends Rekordbox flash drive settings. they had the decks configured in a unique way. Anyway. I had technical difficulties up there! But I still had fun! part of being a dj/producer/performer is getting comfortable with working through problems, nothings always going to go smooth and being adaptible pays the bills, anyway, like, follow, support me if you have love for me <3
Archaic Aura
The meaning of my name is connected to the idea put forth by Terence McKenna,from the book the archaic revival.
What should a culture do when it gets in deep trouble? In what ways should we proceed? Should we press forward without regard, or should we retreat back into the wisdom of the past?
Archaic revival is not a call to action, but an observation about patterns in a society which senses it is entering a new frontier, and is nervous and anxious and distraught, and thus casts back to the last relatively stable time of our existence, when we were in greater harmony and balance with the natural world. But the only way out is still forward and upward. We must redeem the lessons of archaic existence, as they hold the necessary wisdom (which we currently lack or have forgotten) for operating our fancy new powerful technologies such that we successfully navigate into the newest phase of existence. A rejection of historical culture and embrace of adaptive change which binds us with norms, rituals, rules, laws, and other impediments to attaining knowledge of oneself and our place within the collective consciousness of all life, to consider ourselves not only part of the species but part of the entire ecosystem.
The Dao, the totality of all things is but one thing.
I am dedicated to producing music that honors Terence, he helped me more than I can ever explain, through developing as a human, I have used Terence’s philosophies to process many things and I want to share the beauty of my favorite wordsmith to the world, with my aura.
