The Concrete Yard is HUSTLING AND BUSTLING. Freshman in ARCE 106 are getting some hands on learning with Prof. Lawson and @strongtie , while Seniors in Prof. Laursen’s concrete lab build reinforced concrete beams for testing!!! #learnbydoing
Rising 3rd year Alec Gibbs interned for McNamara Salvia in Boston this summer. He worked on a ton of different projects ranging from Gillette Stadium’s Video-board to designing Canopy structures for first floor retail spaces. Alec did some structural analysis models using RAM Structural Systems software and went on tons of different site visits to some crazy cool projects.
