Big gratitude post! ⭐️🫀 Facilitated some beautiful art, intentional movement and free flow dance workshops at @festivalofcollectives last Saturday 🥹🥹🥹 and wow what a beautiful and memorable day! There were amazing talks around environment, collectives, sustainability, and so much more 🥹 I was blessed with connecting to the stars & young stars and getting their creative juices flowing through the arts tent, as well as facilitating an intentional movement session + a free flow dance exercise with all the festival attendees. It’s always a pleasure to be recognised for the things I love to do. I thank God for my gifts of bringing people together, embodying and inspiring FUN, free movement and artistic expression. BIG BIG THANK U TO @arccocreate @donanxn @mayaroberts_tt @staceyedw @dasi_edwards @mjamestt & the many many many more people who did so much work to organise and bring this vision to life. It was a pleasure to be apart. This video does not capture the pure MAGIC the day was. From the pan to the art exhibition, to the meaningful and powerful talks, to the vendors, to the mokos, to the land grown food !!! I was too present to be on my phone, but I hope this inspires u to come to the next⭐️

Changemaking is hard work. It requires creativity, commitment, and community. Collectives also need skills, knowledge and time to rest and reset. We’ve stepped in to give this invaluable community of movers and shakers just what it needs - a day full of learning, camaraderie, inspiration and play. There’ll be music and Mokos, bubbles and book nooks, conversation and cooking, planting and playing and lots more in store. Today is the day. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Collectives have always been an important part of Caribbean history and culture. We love working together, playing together, and eating together. LEAF Experiences #2 Earth Day Edition…the vibe was on a different hype…the goals, still solid. Pot Painting & Open Mic Night came back and the room showed up again. Paint. Plants. Performances. An eco talk that reminded us why this work matters. This community we are building is truly something special. Thank you to everyone who came through, our performers, our eco talk partner at Mikela Hosein @cyentt_ and everyone who made Earth Day feel like something real in Trinidad and Tobago.
