Welcome to the ARCA Works, LLC Instagram page! For those of you who don’t know who I am, my name is Andrew Hiltbrand, and I started this company in 2022.
I have been kayaking since 2010, and I have been very fortunate enough to paddle in many places in and out of the United States.
If you would have told me years ago that I would start my own paddle company, I would have said that you were crazy. After almost 2 years of product development, testing, and research, I can confidently say that I am ready to bring the heat to the market!
I hope that I can continue kayaking, travel to more places, and see you out on the water!

Another release down, and what an incredible one at that. Jenna and Blake showed me down the 'Scades and I am hooked. I cannot wait to grab some more laps! With all the chaos that happens in a 3 minute lap I thought some Sherpa would be appropriate to set the mood. Enjoy!

I had a house full of 'Lulah on Sunday with an absolutely incredible solo lap down the Tallulah Gorge in the #spadekayaks Full House! The short is for the gram, the raw lap will be up on the youtubes. Enjoy this fun blast down the gorge!

Jumped onto the Nolichucky at 2.5' for an incredible day out playing on one of the most changed rivers in the southeast. I am starting to really enjoy the playfulness of the Bliss by #SpadeKayaks. I dont quite have it down yet, but I am starting to get the tail down.

One of the biggest lefty rock spin spots that inspired the handplant rock spin (or as Chris Beck calls it: "parchman push"). It did not disappoint, and I will be getting more attempts.

Every time I get into this gorge I can physically feel how special and magical it is. Stoked to finally get some water here in the southeast. Thankful for a safe journey with the homies. A big thank you to Kirk Eddlemon for the books that sparked my love for creeking, and all the wise words in them needed to complete these missions safely.
