London was an absolute dream! Still reeling from two days of recording my @spectracreativeagency client and friend @rebekkakarijord ās stunning upcoming score at @airstudioslyndhurst with the @lcorchestra under the baton of the amazing @hugh.tieppo.brunt and engineered by the fabulous @fionatron . Big shout out to @taliamorey on her orchestrations and smashing it in the sessions. Oh and thanks for hanging out, @twhiddleston , and sharing all your stories from set. Glad I also got to see lots of friends and family Iāve missed dearly, meet some of my fellow @theawfc board members that I only ever see on zoom, and FINALLY see some shows on the West End (do NOT sleep on Cabaret!). Canāt wait to be back again soon!
Today @spectracreativeagency turns 5!
Last week, I had a really nice moment on the patio of @theasterlosangeles . I was taking back to back calls, and as the sun was setting, I looked around and realized that I was overlooking the Taft Building, where I started my career and worked for the first 5.5 years. I was also overlooking the Capitol Records building, where I worked for 3.5 years for the next chapter of my career. Now, here I was, about to celebrate five years of owning and running my own business, feeling very proud of what Iāve built and continue to build. Iām proud of the work my clients continue to do and the amazing music they create and curate.
The past year was a very challenging one, but Iām more driven and motivated than ever, and Iām thrilled for whatās ahead. Thank you to my clients who continue to put their trust in me - itās a thrill to be on this journey with each of you. Thank you to all the creatives who I get to do business with. And thank you to all of the friends and family who continue to support me on this journey. Great things to come!
Welcomed 2026 with open arms with the absolute best. New Yearās Eve at @propernye and New Yearās Day family dinner. Love this crew ā¤ļø Happy New Year!
Our last stop was Roma! We got to spend the day exploring the city with our dearest @c_moe which was the absolute best ā¤ļø The next day we hit all the sites: the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and a the inside of the Colosseum (just incredible). On our last full day, we spent a rainy day visiting St. Peterās Basilica at The Vatican and then explored the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. It still feels like thereās so much more to explore in Rome, but we tossed our coins in the Trevi Fountain, so we will be back!
While in Florence, we did a day-long tour through Tuscany - Siena, a gorgeous and delicious lunch stop, San Gimignano, and Pisa. Siena and San Gimignano were absolutely stunning, and it was surreal seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The next day, Eric and I took a pasta and gelato making class just outside Florence, and it was the absolute highlight of the whole trip! We made three types of pasta by hand and then made a strawberry gelato. We got to drink wine and eat everything we made, including tasting all the flavors of gelato (every pair made a different flavor). Such a fun experience! Canāt wait to come back and explore more of Toscana!
Thank you @tourswalkabout for these amazing experiences!
Next stop: Firenze! I absolutely fell in love with this city and canāt wait to go back. We also explored more of Tuscany but Iām putting that in another post. It was unreal seeing the statue of David in real life, and I loved walking all over the city. So much history and art everywhere. We also celebrated my in-lawsā 49th wedding anniversary by treating them to a delicious dinner at @ammaliafirenze which was one of our favorite meals on the trip! Highly recommend getting a meal there if you go to Florence! Oh and the Odeon is such a cool place - a book store and a movie theater all in one!
Next we visited Milano! We spent a rainy afternoon at the Castello Sforzesco exploring the museums, including a really cool musical instrument exhibit. Then we visited the Duomo and the huge mall. We didnāt explore too much of Milan, because our one full day there, we went on a day-long tour through the Valtellina valley to Tirano, where we took the Bernina train into Switzerland to St. Moritz! It was an amazing day with stunning sights. During the two-hour train ride, the tour guide would tell us when to open the windows to get great photos and really take in the scenery. It was gorgeous passing Lake Como, and St. Moritz is such a cute town! It was also fun to see Milan all prepped for the Winter Olympics in February!
Gonna be a little obnoxious and share a few posts from our ten-day trip through Italy. First stop: Venezia! Really loved exploring this beautiful city. Could not stop taking photos. Iām now obsessed with cicheti, and our dinner here was probably my favorite meal of the whole trip. And of course, we had our first (of many) gelato of the trip, and I had my first (of many) Aperol spritz!
Merry Christmas and happy holidays from our little family! ššā¤ļø Our first holiday season without our little Remy is not quite the same, but we love our little Parker! We hope everyone has a restful holiday season! @ericgotig #happyholidays #happyholigays #husbands
Super proud of this team! We played a great season and played three great playoff games in a row today to land second place! #RestingPitchFace @outloudsports

AWFC PLAYBACK: A review of the California Copyright Conference
Fall Mixer with AWFC Board Member Arbel Bedak
It was wonderful having the opportunity to represent the AWFC at the California Copyright Conference fall mixer! We were one of two co-sponsors with tables at the event, the other organization being Women In Music, which gave me the opportunity to connect with WIM board members and talk about how our organizations can collaborate.
The event comprised music professionals across roles in publishing, labels, licensing, royalty tracking, artist representation, music supervisors, and artists. There were people who work at indies as well as at studios. Folks came by the table, some familiar with our organization and others hearing about it for the first time, so I had the opportunity to talk about and showcase the work the AWFC has been doing over the past 10+ years and highlight some of our current ongoing initiatives.
There was an overall very excited response to the organization, and almost every attendee who came by walked away with a pamphlet or scanned one of our QR codes for more information. We even had a few folks who were be genuinely interested in volunteer opportunities with our organization and scanned the QR code to get connected. Other folks were excited to pass the information along to composer friends/colleagues who they felt would benefit from joining. There was even a student from CSU Northridge in the media composition department who asked if we have collaborated with their program before and took some materials to share with his women and gender diverse classmates in the program (and was very interested in volunteering).
This really showed how important it was to have a presence at events like this, and I look forward to us continuing to be present at relevant events to continue spreading the word about the amazing work weāre doing and to continue garnering support and membership!
