“I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.” New Zealand is a fun place.

“I hate theatre. Well, it’s so disappointing, isn’t it? You know what I do when I’m sitting in a darkened theatre waiting for the show to begin? I pray. Oh, God, please let it be a good show. And let it be short, oh Lord in heaven, please. Two hours Is fine, three hours is too much. And keep the actors out of the audience. God. I didn’t pay good money to have the fourth wall come crashing down around my ears. I just want a story, and a few songs that will take me away. I want to be entertained. I mean, isn’t that the point? Amen.” - @martin.octave.julien Thanks for letting me be a part of this experience @shiftinggroundcollective and thanks to the phenomenal people who make it all keep stumbling along: @officialjoshuak @coletteavrich @shanni173 and @jds_3090 Special thanks to @jop_oryx for making me sound beautiful and @bryce_gowdy for playing the unseen role of Rio

On February 6, 2026 I got to have my first ever chance to really perform on a Toronto stage. Who would have thought I’d be fortunate enough to make my debut at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre with a show I wrote? Struggles of No Real Significance is a passion project that began as a nightmare, but was shaped by some of the greatest people I know into a reality. Rhubarb! 47 was a dream come true, thanks to the following people for making it happen: My director, @rachelhrus , my dramaturg, @sarastarling , for making the blackboard, @dsjb_72 , the entire team at @buddiesto , my ever-suffering partner, @katiemariz , all of my fellow Rhubarb artists who will continue to inspire me, the prof who oversaw the first iteration of the piece, @kelseyljacobs , and to my friends and colleagues from DRAM 439 📸: @henry.chan.photo

First Halloween in Hamilton! Spent it with Rebel Scum, but it was still fun. Thanks to the 7 or so trick or treaters who trekked all the way to our little corner nook we set up, you all made my day.

Last year in April I had the absolute pleasure of reading in the workshop of a new play by Craig Walker that was about some of Kingston’s history. This year it’s getting a full production and it opens this Friday. This show is special to me for so many reasons, but the thing that makes it most special of all is that my first show after graduating from Queen’s is about the city I have grown to love so much. It plays this Friday July 25 until Sunday August 3. Tickets can be found at the link in my bio. Description is as follows: At the Binnington Court entrance to the K&P Trail is an information sign explaining that the trail is named after the Kingston and Pembroke Railway (known locally as the Kick and Push). On the back is a photograph of a small work crew, including three men, and surprisingly, seated before them, a young girl. Musing on who these people were, and why the photograph was taken—was the beginning of the play Providence. The play is set in Summer 1875, the day before the railway opens. The cast of five includes three men, a girl, and the mother of two of the men. Like most of the workers who built the K&P, the men are poor immigrants from Ireland and Scotland. And like many immigrants to Canada, they have an equivocal relationship with their past lives. Trouble from “the old country” is making their new home dangerous. While almost all of the K&P railway itself is long gone, within Kingston there is one short stretch of the original tracks at Hickson and Hagerman Avenues. It is here that Providence is staged on the 150th anniversary of K&P’s opening.

Graduated a little while ago. Got the paper recently. Haven’t had a chance to breath and think about it since then, so this post is late. I plan on getting right back to being busy once this post is done. A lot of people helped along the way: here are a few of them. Thanks guys, it’s been a pleasure I won’t soon forget. Let’s do it all over sometime soon. 💜

This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle, This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars. Pretentiously posting Shakespeare quotes aside, the UK was amazing. I got to see so much amazing theatre, share it with people I love, and even take in some history on the side.

“Have you ever felt different? Like no one quite understands you? No One Important has, and they’re here to share their experience with abnormality. It really isn’t that interesting or significant, but maybe you’ll find something to chuckle at. Maybe something will resonate with you. Probably not, but who cares? It’s something to do.” I’m so excited to be sharing ‘Struggles of No Real Significance’ at TheoFest on March 28th and 29th this year! This show is just about the most personal thing I’ve worked on yet. I’m scared to share it, but also excited. It shows only three times over two days, so make sure you catch the very limited run. Ticket Link in Bio, showtimes are as follows: March 28 - 9:00pm March 29 - 6:00pm March 29 - 8:15pm (Tickets are literally only $2 so there isn’t a good reason not to come, and if you spend $5 or $10 you can see a handful of really amazing shows while you’re there.)

One week ago today, for one night only, I got the chance to perform the amazing script: Thom Pain (based on nothing) by Will Eno as the second ever production from @breedbatetheatre This production was super near and dear to my heart, it was a chance for me to take a script I love and really take a leap of faith putting it on. It was scary, but we did it. And it couldn’t have been done without the amazing team who supported eachother along the way. Thank you @jakehenderson003 for being the director who knew me better than any other. Every rehearsal ran so smoothly and there’s no way I could have done the 4 week turn around with anyone else. Thank you @_robertherz_ for being our guardian angel. Every step of the way we faced some awful problem and you found a solution. Couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you, perhaps most of all to the most supportive community on the planet. In these pictures you can see me, surrounded by some of my best friends who all are willing to take a risk seeing every new crazy thing I try. You all are the reason I have the confidence to take risks like this. Thank you for being there for the wins and the loses. Lastly, an extra special thanks to @katiemariz for the promotional photos, and @tfort1 for the production photos. Enough. I have to go. You have to go. Maybe someone is waiting. Please be someone waiting. I’m done with this. Important things will happen, now. I promise.

‘Die Moritat von Mackie Messer’ (Mack the Knife) from 'Die Dreigroschenoper' (The Threepenny Opera) with lyrics by Bertolt Brecht and music by Kurt Weill Accompaniment Jenna Simeonov @jennadoogles I recently had to film two pieces for an application, and people seemed to appreciate 'Ho Capito', so I figured I'd share another. I started working on Mack the Knife around this time last year, and it has quickly become possibly my favourite song to sing. It's just so catchy and fun in a really dark sort of way. I hope you enjoy it at least half as much as I do!

Part two of two : ) This year I’ve gotten to do so many wonderful things that I couldn’t cram them all into one post. So here is a second to help me fit just a few more. I’m posting it so late at night because I’ve just left the department formal of my third year where I got to look down from a balcony and see so many of the people who have made my life so fantastic these past few years. All I could think was how lucky I am to have them all in my life, and how excited I am to see them all again come September. Again, if you missed something, fear not! For here are ordered explanations: 1. Addam’s Family portrait with our lovely director of the @queensmusicaltheatre production of The Addams Family Musical 2. Getting to see Paradise Lost after working on intimacy choreography as one of the assistants of Dr. Kelsey Jacobson and alongside @kimmy.dsouza 3. My co-referee, Dr. Kelsey Jacobson and I getting ready to run a charity dodge-ball game 4. Me receiving my comeuppance as Oliver in As You Like It through @dominotheatre_kingston 5. Some backstage shenanigans as Lurch 6. The photograph that inspired Providence by Dr. Craig Walker, a reading I was fortunate enough to take part in as one of these lovely gentlemen 7. My lovely sibling getting dropped off at the train station after a weekend visit 8. My lovely partner and I on our way out from the @dandscqueens with my awards. Thank you to everyone who voted for me, I’m truly flattered! I cannot overstate how much this year has meant to me, and how much these people have bettered my life. Thank you for three amazing years so far. I can’t wait to see how we top it all off this upcoming school year.
