February dump. Flying Kites, good yarns, bike rides, mountaineering, ski touring (ish), board games, and quilting.
Not featured is the dog bite, but that's healed up nicely now.
The afternoon starting as a simple 2k mini mission to stay overnight in a bothy. We'd looked at the weather and seen the rain warnings, but decided to go anyway.
We pushed our bikes up the hill into the wind and rain, and made it by nightfall. But an unexpected stream crossing at the final hurdle, we ended up making the call to return to the cars in the dark as we didn't want to risk the crossing in the morning when the water would be higher.
What better way to spend the weekend than taking a train ride north, cycling 15k, wild camping out for the night then absailing a series of waterfalls with complete strangers 🚂🚲🏕️⛰️🪢
Weekend spent hiking the Munro Fionn Bheinn at Achnasheen followed by wild camping down at the next train stop at Achnashallach. Sadly cut the trip short on the next two Munros on Sunday due to the weather.

Amazing time, and great squad.
Also nothing quite being left alone at the top of a waterfall with no way out by down for the first time 😅
Kicking off my return to Winter with my first Ski Tour in Scotland.
My skis maiden trip, and they performed wonderfully. Also knocking out my first Munro for the year. So great trip Al around.
