A hybrid organism suspended between deep-sea life and floral morphology. The structure would spread across the body like a living colony—unstable, invasive, and in a constant state of mutation. Layers proliferate beyond the silhouette,as if responding to unseen currents beneath the surface. Neither garment nor organism, it would exist in an ambiguous state of coexistence, where beauty and toxicity quietly intertwine.

Pelagic Buds/yellow ver.🐠🪷🍋
This piece is neither a flower nor a marine organism.
It exists in an intermediate, hybrid state—expressed here as a couture garment.It may be understood as a form suspended between bloom and life itself.
Inspired by the latent tension contained within a bud, the structure holds compressed energy—on the verge of expansion, yet not fully released.
Layered volumes extend outward from the body,taking on the fluidity and movement of drifting marine life-
forms shaped by pressure, current, and depth.
This is not a representation of nature,but a reconfiguration of its underlying structural logic.
It explores the point at which plant and ocean intersect,
coexisting within a single, unstable form.
What emerges is not a completed body,but a “living structure” in the midst of transformation- a state in which life continues to evolve through trial and error.

Starting from coral pink costume, I styled the piece using red and neon-colored elements, as if they were infiltrating the body. It is neither a flower nor a creature, and certainly not something ornament. The image would look like organic details multiplying beyond the body's original outline.In other words, some different elements emerged slowly, and they would accumulate through the process of making.

Rooted in the structural logic inherent in iris petals, this purple costume emerged from the body as a point of departure.I really love the moment when an image expands beyond intention, extending into unforeseen shapes. Layered volumes would proliferate outward, destabilizing traditional concepts of silhouette.
The sensation would also resemble the dissolution of boundaries between costume, organism, and sculpture.
In my practice, I continually aim not for ornamentation, but for a “living structure” — a form that persists in constant transformation.
