Warm timber, light surfaces and soft textiles create calm backdrop for luminaires with simple, cylindrical form. In this part of project, surface-mounted PET was used. Luminaires appear along circulation routes, where precise light is needed without introducing more complex forms on ceiling. Compact PET body works well in this layout: clearly defined, yet not overwhelming. Colour finishes are worth noting too. Here, body colour was matched to light surfaces, timber and warm, neutral palette of interior. It’s detail showing how much ability to align luminaires not only with function, but also with materials and colour palette, matters. Bright desktops, timber joinery, and workstations set opposite each other. This part of project needed lighting that supports desk work and creates cohesive, ordered impression across whole zone. Suspended OPTIMA up&down luminaires were used here. Linear form fits layout of workstations, and proportions match desk width, so whole set-up feels natural and consistent. OPTIMA combines precise downward task light with upward emission that, reflected from bright ceiling, brightens surroundings further. One luminaire can light two opposing workstations evenly. White, linear luminaires remain clearly visible against darker joinery, yet don’t compete with materials in interior. Role is precise: support work and keep this part of project consistent. Tiered seating, bright surfaces and soft textiles create zone designed for meetings, presentations and group work. In this kind of space, effective and efficient general lighting is needed, along with good glare control. That’s why surface-mounted BIG SIZE luminaires were used here, in PRO diffuser version. Large, round forms match proportions of this part of interior, while still feeling visually light against bright ceiling. Microprismatic PRO diffuser helps reduce glare even further, which matters in space where users may stay longer and use it in different ways. Its structure also plays important role in how luminaire is perceived in interior. It’s not only technical solution, but detail that gives BIG SIZE more distinctive, decorative character. Elongated canopy and asymmetrically grouped modules make it possible to combine two or three spotlights in one luminaire, while keeping the whole installation clear and cohesive.
