I finally visited Masjid Sri Sendayan in Malaysia. The most requested mosque in my DMs. And what a perfect day to photograph the mosque it was!
There’s a lot more photos that I want to share, but they’re all part of a project I’m currently working on with a Malaysian brand (that I can’t really talk about right now), so I’ll share them when I get the go ahead.
Super excited to tell you all about it next week onwards! Until then, here is a photo that I can actually share.
This photo has been gaining “some” attention, and over the past 24 hours, my DMs have been flooded with messages about it. I originally posted it on my Threads account to highlight the crop capabilities of my Fujifilm GFX 100 II, a 100-megapixel camera. Somehow, it caught traction early in the morning, and since then, the post has taken off in ways I didn’t expect.
As of now, the post has gathered over 33,400 likes, 290 comments, 2,100 reposts, and 622 reshares on threads alone. What’s even more interesting is that some Islamic accounts with massive followings picked it up and reposted it, which seems to have set off a snowball effect. The engagement has been incredible, and it’s been fascinating to see how far the image has traveled in such a short time.
For those who have been asking, this photo is completely free to download—it’s available on both my Unsplash and Pexels profiles. I love making my work accessible to everyone, and seeing it resonate with so many people is truly rewarding.
A huge thank you to everyone who liked, commented, shared, and helped amplify this image! And a warm welcome to the 1,000+ new followers on Threads and the 500+ who joined me on Instagram. I appreciate every one of you!
Most architecture meets you at eye level. Masjid Raya Al Jabbar starts there and keeps climbing. Every angle revealing another pattern, every pattern another way to look up.

Eid Mubarak to all, whatever day you’re celebrating. Couldn’t pick between the poster variations so I’m uploading them all.

27 Ramadan 1447H. You had to be here tonight. (Since y’all love asking, I was done with my prayers and recorded this when I was heading back to my car).
Been thinking about reviving my “Sacred Symmetry” series. This series caught the attention of National Geographic who reached out for exclusive publishing last year, but there were a few things we couldn’t align on so it never got through. After that I lost the motivation to continue with this series. When something comes that close and falls through, it hits different.
But recently I’ve had the urge to pick this back up alongside the documentary style photos I shoot. Still figuring it out. Will it get picked up by someone? Idk. I just want to enjoy taking photos like this again.
The white mosque and overcast weather are a perfect pair. First visit to Masjid At-Thohir and it's been a long time coming. Taraweeh tonight is a must!
