📈 The data is clear: APS is rising.
Atlanta Public Schools has been recognized as a 2026 District on the Rise, one of only 108 districts nationwide recognized by the Education Recovery Scorecard from Harvard and Stanford.
Our students are outperforming similar districts in math, reading, and academic recovery because of intentional investments in teaching and learning. From literacy support and instructional coaching to strong teacher development and student interventions — the work is working.
And the momentum continues:
✔️ 90%+ graduation rate
✔️ 90%+ teacher retention
✔️ 34 Beating the Odds recognitions
✔️ Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award
We are strengthening our instructional core because every APS student deserves to thrive!
