KBASE by Kanopy is a streaming video service with over 10,000 films. It contains videos from a wide variety of subjects, ranging from educational documentaries and classic cinema to popular movies and television series. Q: Does the library accept donations?
A: Yes! The Woodward Library does accept donations, but there are only certain things that we can accept. We have a gift/donor form available at the front Circulation desk that must be filled out and accompany all donations. You can look at it to get a better idea of what we accept and don’t, but here’s the short version:
We DO take:
• Books (with exceptions – NOT in poor condition or damaged, no textbooks, no mass paperbacks, no workbooks or loose-leaf books, no magazines)
• DVDs
• CDs
• Special Collections items (papers, diaries, records, photographs, etc.) – Please call 931-221-7028 for more information.

Mid-Week Muse!
On this day (May 13) in 1964, actor and comedian Stephen Colbert was born in Washington, D.C. He is best known as the host of "The Colbert Report" and "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."
The Woodward Library has a few books by Mr. Colbert, one of which is called, "I am America (and so can you!)," where he expands on some of his late-night humor and insights that he doesn't have time to fit into his show. The book is part of our General Collection on the third floor (Call #: PN6165 .I25 2007).

🚧 UNDER CONSTRUCTION in the Woodward Library! 🛠️
The third floor will be getting a refresh starting Monday, May 11. We're bringing updated spaces, improvements, and a better environment for studying, collaborating, and locating the books you need.
Work will take place throughout the summer months, so for safety's sake, access to the third floor will be limited during construction. You can still check out any books available there, just come to the Circulation Desk and one of our awesome staffers will go get it for you. We appreciate your patience while we make these upgrades!
