On 15th March we were in St Augustine’s College and an ultra modern science lab was handed over to the school by the APSU 2000 year group. This lab required some form of knowledge to be operated so experts had to be trained to help students and teachers use our new science Lab efficiently.
Today, we want everyone to know that the lab is functioning to its fullest and we can’t wait to see the great men that will be produced.
This is not the only project that was done by APSU 2000. Sanitation and water systems have been improved. A maintenance fund has also been set up to help in maintaining all of these structures.
Thank you for thinking about the great St Augustine’s College.
This is a call to all well wishers, parents and alumni who can support our school in any way. There is still a lot to be done. Let’s all come together and continue to make St Augustine’s College the great school that it is.

How much is too much? How far are you willing to go for your Alma mater? The first project on 15th March was a Junior Science Lab and in less than 2 months, APSU 2000 is back. Still in the spirit of giving back, they have dug 4 boreholes in the school which will help solve water problems at St Augustine’s College.

As old students, we have a duty.
Sustainable Development Goals Target 1 says by 2030 all boys and girls should complete free, equitable and quality primary and secondary education that leads to relevant and effective learning outcomes.
In 1995, the Free Compulsory Universal Basic Education was introduced and was implemented in 1996 which saw an increase in number of children in primary and junior high schools. This policy has its own challenges but we can all agree that it was a step in the right direction.
In 2017, the Free SHS policy was introduced by the then government which replaced the Progressive Free Senior High School Education. It’s been a couple of years, there has been an increase in numbers at our dear schools.
This means there is pressure on the existing infrastructure.
The government is doing its part but we believe more can be done.
On 1st May we took a trip to St Augustine’s College in Cape Coast with the class of 2000 year group. After handing over their legacy project they found different places in the school that needed attention and they promised to do something about them. These places included the washrooms and the water system.
Join us on this journey as we make our school great again and also plead with all friends, parents and old boys for St Augustine’s College to lend a helping hand.
