Now that the dust has settled and the official photos are in, I’ve finally had a chance to process what an immense opportunity it was to direct The Medium. 🔮🎭
These students are exceptionally talented, and it was a true privilege to work with them this past semester. While I’m sad our run has come to an end, I am filled with nothing but gratitude and immense pride for these outstanding musicians. 😊 Putting on a production of this scale takes a village. A special thank you to the voice area, @apsu_symphony , @apsumusic , @ceca_apsu , and the Mabry staff—especially @jo.shua_k . Huge thanks as well to @apsutheatreanddance (specifically our stage manager @destinedtobe_destiny , then Talon Beeson, Leni Dyer, and Charlie Krantz), Korre Foster and to Mrs. Michelle Fraley for all of your invaluable support!

This weekend the students of the @apsu.opera and @apsu_symphony teamed up for a wonderful performance of The Medium by Giancarlo Menotti, directed by @sopraelee !!!
It is always a joy to return the opera pit, but this run was an extra special experience to share conducting duties with conducting graduate student @ale_23drums who assisted the production and handled his responsibilities with poise. Bravi tutti to our voice area which is truly thriving @operajeff@ctminsang !
