The first thing we did when we signed our record deal back in 2001 was to build a website and send a free two-track CD to the first 2,000 people who signed up for our newsletter. Within a few months, we had over 7,000 requests... and we sent them all out. If you have that CD, you’re an OG Melaton fan, and all 7,000 of you have a special place in our hearts. ‘Périphérique’ was track no. 2 on that CD, and was later released on our first official EP ‘Falling Star’. It’s exhilarating to play this song together again.
