New Work from APS: Support NicotiNEE
Together with the educational Dutch platform Vapen#jouwkeuze, we are launching a new campaign (photographed free of charge by @arthurmebius ) to show that vaping is not really a free choice. The tobacco industry is making our children more addicted than ever with trendy vapes and attractive colors, paving the way for a new generation of addicts.
The citizens’ initiative NicotiNEE aims to stop this industry by protecting our children with a new legislative proposal (to be debated in the Dutch Parliament on December 12) to tie the sale of nicotine products to the year of birth. Under this proposal, no nicotine products may be sold to children born after January 1, 2012. This measure will take effect in 2030 when children born in 2012 turn 18. From that moment, the age limit for the sales ban will increase by one year annually, creating a nicotine-free generation.
This campaign was produced pro bono and can be seen in out-of-home advertisements across all major Dutch cities (thanks to jcdecaux.nl).

A huge congratulations to six of our Dutch colleagues who have been suffering from stiff shoulders after taking part in the Paddle to Move event to raise money for the Neuromove Foundation.
By paddleboarding 7.25km through the canals of Amsterdam the team managed to raise a fantastic €5,000 which contributed towards the huge total of over €160,000 raised by the event – and they even managed to stay dry!
The Neuromove Foundation was established in 2019 by a group of spinal cord injury patients with the goal of bringing Activity-Based Therapy to the Netherlands and improving the quality of life for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
