Our current production APR ECU software files are fully compatible with the recent @autotunertool@autotunerusa unlock process and perform exactly as intended.
✅ Supports APR performance software
✅ Supports OEM stock file flashing by request
✅ Verified through internal testing
Dealers will be able to confidently pair APR software with newly-available AutoTuner USA unlock services for a seamless flashing experience.

Important Update: APR Direct Turbocharger Replacement (DTR) Systems
We want to share an update regarding the APR DTR Turbocharger Systems.
At APR, we hold our products to a high standard for performance, consistency, and overall customer experience. Following a recent review of the DTR program, we have made the decision to phase out the DTR turbo program as we look ahead to future product development with a different supplier.
Our product lines consisting of OEM and Garrett PMAX Turbochargers for MK8 vehicles, as well as K04 Turbochargers from BorgWarner, are not affected by this decision.
The products below will be discontinued on 5/31/2026 as part of these program changes, with eventual replacements planned:
T4100001 – APR DTR8868 Direct Replacement Turbo System, 3.0T EA839
T4100003 – APR DTR6054 Direct Replacement Turbo System, 2.0T EA888.3
T4100004 – APR DTR8563 Direct Replacement Turbo System, 2.5T EA855
