Led by founder Carolin Dunkel, the April First edit is built around modern essentials and elevated statement pieces designed to live in your wardrobe for years to come. The selection reflects a clear, contemporary aesthetic paired with a wearable palette of timeless neutrals, precise tailoring, and distinctive feminine pieces that quietly stand out.

🥀 Today, a decade ago, I took the chance on something that felt deeply personal.
I didn’t know where it would lead, only that I had to start. With a business plan and no financial background, I walked into a bank and asked for a loan, one I just paid off today.
For 10 years now, I have celebrated my birthday and the store on the very same day. And even after all this time, people still tell me, now I finally understand why it is called April First.
What followed were years of consistency, presence and pouring my heart into every detail. Some moments were uncertain, others unforgettable, but all of them shaped what this is today.
After Covid, we started our online shop, launched our own fine jewelry line, created a Winzer Sekt, hosted events - pop up events, introduced our April First Muse edition, and so much more…
April First is not just a brand or a space, it is a community, built together with everyone who supported it, believed in it, and carried it forward with me.
Thank you to my closest people and to our loyal customers from near and far for your continued trust and support. It truly means everything.
