: STORIES OF LOVE::
At the edge of the sea beneath skies brushed with pink,
A quiet metal sculpture stands still on the brink,
In the hush of the sunset, soft colours above,
It shifts with each step into stories of love,
From one gentle angle a family appears, a father so steady through all of the years,
A mother so graceful, both patient and wise,
Two children with laughter that sparkles and flies,
A moment together, so simple and true,
Like warmth of a memory the sunset once knew,
But wander a little and change where you stand,
And suddenly sails drift away from the land,
Metal sails swaying on oceans so wide,
Catching the evening wind’s whispering tide,
Gliding through dreams as the daylight departs,
Carrying hope in their quietest hearts,
And still as I look, it transforms once again,
A sculpture of meaning beyond human ken, In curves there is peace like the calm of the sea,
In spaces there lingers soft hope drifting free,
Its quiet strength speaks of a love deep and bright,
While joy dances gently with fading pink light,
Perhaps that’s the magic the sunset can weave,
Not only the metal our eyes may perceive,
But all that our hearts and our spirits can see,
Reflections of life in such artistry,
For as the pink sky melts softly in view,
This beautiful sculpture holds stories both timeless and new,
It whispers in twilight for all hearts to see,
That love looks like family standing by the sea,
That hope lifts its sails wherever winds may be,
And beauty always lives, in perspective set free.
The wonderful words of the young poet tell a story of love alongside April’s beautiful art.
